We’ll be travelling to the traditional village of Kritsa to immerse ourselves in one of the most authentic epicurean traditions of Crete: savoury and sweet pies and pastries, such as kalitsounia and wild herb pie – all made from the purest ingredients, including locally sourced vegetables, cheese and dairy (as well as some outstanding Cretan olive oil, of course). Bite-sized or cut into large pieces, these small culinary miracles will soon rank among the stand-out foodie experiences of your summer.
